First time for breakfast here on a visit from out of town. The service is fast and friendly. The food is basic and less expensive than other places. They have special menu items for seniors. It's an open room, no partitions, and it was quite loud and crowded, with everyone talking. It is in a recreation complex and was busy with sports activities

What makes this place so good? The owners and staff! The breakfast is great and cooked to order. The coffee never runs out thanks to the attentive waiters. The atmosphere scores low, but the ambience is that of a typical breakfast joint, so it's OK. Prices are in line with similar restaurants. Enjoy!

This is the only restaurant in Orillia where you can get a view over lake Couchiching and lake Simcoe! Plenty of space inside, wide menu, friendly staff who have been there forever.

Best breakfast in Orillia. Great food and exceptional service every time we've been here. Lots of options for lunch and breakfast at a great price. Big portions. These guys work their butts off everyday and really care about their customers.

UPDATE: Nothing changes here except the daily specials and the junior staff. Always made to feel comfortable and welcome. The breakfasts are worthy and filling.My Friday destination for brunch with great friends.

I have breakfast at the Bayside at least twice a month. Always good food, prepared right, right price. The waitresses are #1. With Help Wanted signs posted (like many places these days), I could easily get tired watching them on busy days keeping up with the orders, and making sure we have enough hot coffee in our cups, and keeping their friendly smiles. I wish I had that level of energy and still keep a smile on my face. With the good food and dedicated and friendly staff, this is my #1 breakfast restaurant.
